Work Experience:

I am working as Executive-Sales Engineer at Siemens Enterprise Communications Pvt. Ltd. for voice, video and data solutions. Video Conference Solutions, Voice solutions – EPABX, IPBX, VOIP solutions is my work area now. My work email is dey.sourish at siemens-enterprise dot com.

Before joining Siemens, I was at Panorama Electronics Pvt. Ltd. as Project C0-ordinator in the Electronic Security Solutions division. Panorama was a great learning experience and being a big fish in a small pond at Panorama helped me gain a lot of valuable experience that gave me the kick-start I needed in my career. And, I liked my work on electronic security systems -cctv, access control, etc. Visit to IFSEC 2008, New Delhi increased my interest multiple times.

Brief Academic Profile:

I loved studying what was not on syllabus or what will never help me score in exams. As a result, I ended up as an average student all my life by academic records.

I did my engineering in Electronics and Communications from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata. Few colleges have a better campus in Eastern India.

I did my schooling from South Point High School. South Point was at one time in the Guiness Book of World Records for being the largest school in the world by number of students. The school still remains one of the best by academic performances in board exams.South Point days will be sure the best days in my life.

My first client was my school followed by my college. (both CCTV Surveillance System for their campuses)

I have recently enrolled for a distance learning program for  M.Com at IGNOU. I found the papers interesting and decided to join.  I wish to do a full-time MBA when I get the opportunity.

Social Networking:

I am on Orkut from the days when it had only Brazilians. I login to Orkut as soon as I go online. I have a Twitter profile but I don’t get the point behind Tweeting.
